Please review all sections prior to joining the league. Submission of payment constitutes agreement to these terms.

These bylaws govern all $50 and $100 Dynasty Standard leagues within the StatChasers network.

Please read Section 9: Commissioner Model & Authority carefully. StatChasers leagues use an unpaid commissioner entry structure (no rake / no hidden fees). Paying league dues confirms you agree to these bylaws and long-term commitment expectations.

What We Expect

Commitment & Integrity

  • Long-term mindset: dynasty is multi-season by design
  • Pay on time: missed dues may lead to roster lock / replacement
  • Future picks: if you trade future picks, future dues must be paid by the deadline
  • Fair play: zero tolerance for collusion or bad-faith deals
  • Respect: no harassment, drama, or toxic behavior in chats
Goal: stable leagues that last — with quick orphan replacements when needed.

Empire Pot

Back-to-Back Champion Required

The Empire Pot is awarded to the first team to win two consecutive championships.

  • Win Condition: back-to-back championships
  • Payout Timing: within 1 week of championship game
  • Purpose: incentivizes long-term competitive play
If unclaimed by 2031: A league vote (minimum 10 votes) will determine whether to split the pot, continue rolling it forward, or run a redraft league using the Empire Pot as the prize.

Global Jackpot

Eligible Starting Year 2

A cross-league challenge with a rolling prize pool across the StatChasers dynasty network.

  • How to Win: go undefeated (Weeks 1–17)
  • Tiebreaker: Highest Max PF
  • Rollover: No winner → pot rolls to next year
Note: Jackpot eligibility begins in Year 2 to reduce early orphan risk and encourage long-term league stability.

League Format & Draft Structure

Core rules governing drafts and league configuration.

Startup Draft

  • Format: 3RR (3rd-Round Reversal)
  • Order: Randomized 3 times
  • Time Per Pick: 4 hours
  • Startup Tag Rule: Applies (if enabled)

Rookie Draft

  • Rounds: 4 annually
  • Timing: Within 2 weeks of NFL Draft
  • Time Per Pick: 4 hours
  • Platform: Sleeper

Draft Order & Settings

  • 1.01–1.06: Reverse Max PF (non-playoff)
  • Remaining Picks: Playoff finish
  • Tiebreaker: Max PF in match
  • Roster/Scoring: Governed by Sleeper

Sleeper league settings govern roster size, scoring, lineup requirements, and configuration unless explicitly stated otherwise in these bylaws.

 

Trades & Veto Policy

Trades are encouraged. Collusion and bad-faith dealings are not tolerated.

  • Processing: Automatic
  • Trade Deadline: End of Week 13
  • Offseason Trades: Always open
Reminder: All managers are expected to act in good faith and build sustainable rosters.
Trades are part of dynasty. Integrity is non-negotiable.

Conduct, Violations & Payment Policy

Competitive leagues run best when expectations are clear and consistently enforced.

League Conduct

  • No harassment / toxicity. Treat league members with respect.
  • No drama farming. If there’s an issue, DM the commissioner.
  • No spam. League ads or long posts should not remain pinned in chat.
  • Competitive integrity. Collusion or coordinated manipulation is not allowed.
No Drama Rule: Continued disruptive behavior may result in removal from the league without refund.
Escalation:
1️⃣ Friendly reminder → 2️⃣ Temporary roster lock → 3️⃣ Extended lock → 4️⃣ Removal (no refund)

Payments & Future Pick Deadlines

  • Missed payment: Warning → roster lock → replacement.
  • If you trade future picks: future dues must be paid by the deadline.
  • Non-payment risk: removal without refund if future picks were traded.
Unpaid Future Picks: The commissioner may lock rosters or remove managers who fail to pay future dues after trading picks.
Entry Fee Deadlines:
• 2027 season → paid before 2026 season start (Sept 2026)
• 2028 season → paid before 2027 season start (Sept 2027)
• And so on.

Commissioner Model & Authority

StatChasers leagues operate with an unpaid commissioner entry model and an active commissioner responsible for stability, integrity, and payouts.

Commissioner Entry Structure (No Rake)

Instead of charging a separate fee, StatChasers leagues use a simple structure: the commissioner plays for free (one unpaid entry).

  • Example (12 teams): 11 paid entries + 1 commissioner entry
  • Prize Pool: 100% of paid dues are distributed as payouts
  • No hidden fees: no rake, no payout guarantees, no side deals

What you’re paying for: reliable operations, transparency, fast orphan fills, rule enforcement, conflict resolution, and active commissioner support.
This structure is designed to keep leagues stable season after season while maintaining clear, transparent payouts.

Commissioner Authority

  • Enforce bylaws and resolve disputes
  • Manage league logistics (drafts, replacements, operations)
  • Review potential collusion / bad-faith actions
  • Manage funds and issue payouts
  • Lock rosters or remove managers for missed payment / disruptive behavior
Override Clause: The commissioner reserves the right to override or update rules in the best interest of league integrity, fairness, or emergency situations.
Questions or disputes should be handled via DM to prevent public drama and keep the league running smoothly.

By submitting payment and joining a StatChasers Dynasty Standard league, you confirm that you have reviewed and agreed to these bylaws, including payment deadlines, conduct expectations, trade rules, commissioner authority, and integrity enforcement policies.

These rules are designed to promote competitive balance, long-term stability, and a professional dynasty experience.
