1. Overview

These bylaws establish the in-season rules and manager expectations for active StatChasers Redraft Standard leagues, including roster management, trades, competitive lineups, league conduct, commissioner decisions, and other season-long operations.

League Operations

Redraft Standard League Basics

  • League types: $50 and $100 Redraft Standard leagues
  • Platform: Sleeper
  • Trades: Enabled through the end of Week 13
  • League settings: Scoring, rosters, waivers, schedules, and playoffs are governed by the settings displayed within your Sleeper league
Official record: Unless specifically overridden by these bylaws, the settings shown within Sleeper serve as the official settings for your individual league.

Manager Responsibilities

Active Management & League Integrity

  • Competitive lineups: Managers are expected to set legitimate, competitive starting lineups each week
  • Active management: Continue managing your roster, waivers, lineup, and team throughout the season
  • Fair play: Collusion, roster dumping, coordinated manipulation, and bad-faith transactions are prohibited
  • Respect: Harassment, threats, personal attacks, and intentionally disruptive behavior are not permitted
  • Season-long effort: Managers must continue competing in good faith even after playoff elimination
Standard: Every manager is expected to protect the competitive integrity of their individual league and the StatChasers league network as a whole.

2. Waivers & Free Agency

StatChasers Redraft Standard leagues use a FAAB waiver system. Each manager receives a seasonal budget that can be used to bid on available players throughout the fantasy season.

  • Waiver System: FAAB
  • Season Budget: $300 per team
  • Processing: Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays
  • Sunday Rule: Free Agency opens on Sundays after waivers process
  • Unused FAAB: Remaining budget does not carry over to future redraft seasons
  • Player Adds: All waiver claims and free-agent additions must be completed through Sleeper
Competitive Integrity: Waiver claims, FAAB bids, adds, and drops must be made for the benefit of your own team. Coordinating transactions with another manager, intentionally dropping players for another team, or otherwise manipulating the waiver process is prohibited.

Waiver processing times, player lock behavior, and transaction results follow Sleeper platform rules and the settings displayed within your individual league.

3. Global Jackpot

A $5,000+ cross-league jackpot designed to reward a rare undefeated season across eligible StatChasers redraft leagues.

The StatChasers Global Jackpot is a rolling prize pool worth $5,000+ across eligible redraft leagues. To win, a manager must complete a perfect undefeated season.

  • Jackpot: $5,000+ rolling prize pool
  • How to Win: Go undefeated during Weeks 1–17
  • Tiebreaker: TBD
  • Rollover: If there is no winner, the pot rolls to the next eligible season
  • Eligibility: Manager must be paid, active, and in good standing
Note: The commissioner may verify eligibility, final record, Max PF, and any integrity concerns before awarding the Global Jackpot.

4. Trades & Veto Policy

Trades are encouraged. Collusion, roster dumping, and bad-faith dealings are not tolerated. Vetoes are reserved for integrity issues, not simple disagreement over player value.

🔄   Trade Processing & Deadline

Automatic processing with an in-season trade cutoff.

  • Processing: Automatic
  • Trade Deadline: End of Week 13
  • Review Standard: Trades are reviewed only for collusion, roster dumping, or bad-faith activity.
Reminder: All managers are expected to act in good faith and compete fairly for the full season.
🛡️   Veto Process

League poll plus commissioner review for legitimate integrity concerns.

  • A league poll may be initiated if a trade is questioned.
  • Veto Threshold: 50% of non-involved managers must vote to veto.
  • If the threshold is met, the commissioner is tagged for final review.
  • Final Decision: Commissioner review for collusion, roster dumping, or bad faith.
Note: A lopsided or unpopular trade is not automatically collusion. Vetoes are reserved for integrity issues.
🚫   Bad Faith Deals & Collusion

Clear enforcement for actions that damage league integrity.

  • Zero tolerance for collusion, roster dumping, side deals, or coordinated roster manipulation.
  • The commissioner may reverse trades, lock rosters, and/or remove managers without refund.
  • Repeated integrity issues may result in permanent removal from StatChasers leagues.
If you're unsure: DM the commissioner before finalizing a controversial move.

Trades are part of redraft. Integrity is non-negotiable.

5. Conduct & Violations

Competitive leagues run best when expectations are clear and consistently enforced. Managers are expected to treat league members with respect, compete in good faith, and avoid behavior that creates unnecessary drama or damages league integrity.

League Conduct

  • No harassment or toxicity. Treat league members with respect.
  • No drama farming. If there is an issue, DM the commissioner instead of escalating publicly.
  • No spam. League ads, unrelated posts, or long messages should not disrupt league chat.
  • Competitive integrity is required. Collusion, roster dumping, side deals, or coordinated manipulation are not allowed.
  • Season-long effort is expected. Managers should continue setting competitive lineups even if eliminated from playoff contention.
No Drama Rule: Continued disruptive behavior may result in roster lock, removal from the league, and/or permanent removal from future StatChasers leagues without refund.
Escalation: Friendly reminder → Temporary roster lock → Extended lock → Removal without refund

6. Commissioner Role & Authority

The commissioner runs league operations, resolves disputes, manages payouts, and protects league integrity. In recognition of these responsibilities, the commissioner receives a free league entry while the remaining 11 managers pay the established entry fee.

  • League Operations: Runs league operations, resolves issues, manages payouts, and recruits replacement managers when necessary.
  • Commissioner Entry: Receives a free league entry as compensation for managing and administering the league.
  • No Competitive Advantage: Participates as a regular league member and receives no competitive advantage beyond the waived entry fee.
  • Rule Enforcement: May enforce these bylaws and take reasonable action when necessary to protect fairness, competitive balance, and league integrity.
  • Midseason Changes: May implement changes during the season only when necessary to correct an issue, protect fairness, preserve league integrity, or keep the league operating properly.
  • League Feedback: Will seek feedback from league members whenever reasonably possible unless timing or league integrity requires immediate action.
  • Disputes & Uncovered Situations: Has final authority to resolve disputes, interpret these bylaws, and address situations that are not specifically covered by the written rules.
Commissioner Entry: Each league consists of 11 paid entries and one commissioner entry. The commissioner does not pay an entry fee because they are responsible for managing league operations, administration, payouts, disputes, rule enforcement, and replacement-manager recruitment.

Commissioner authority exists to keep the league operating fairly and consistently. It does not provide the commissioner with any competitive advantage as a fantasy manager.
