Should You Start or Roster Joel Wilson?
Wilson enters 2026 as a roster-edge tight end after inking a reserve/future deal with Tennessee, and the profile reflects exactly that standing: he logged zero game action, carries no measurable projections, and sits at essentially 0% ownership across redraft formats. There is no production to build a case on and no defined role on the depth chart, which makes him a name to monitor rather than a piece to draft.
Until he earns snaps in camp and climbs into the rotation, treat him as a watch-list deep stash only. The schedule offers no real lift either, as Tennessee's tight ends grade out middle-of-the-pack for positional matchups. For now, Wilson is purely a training-camp story whose value hinges entirely on carving out a job, so leave him on the waiver wire and revisit only if the depth chart opens up.
