Hankerson arrives in Miami as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon State, where he stacked back-to-back seasons north of 1,000 rushing yards and chipped in 49 catches across that span. That production profile shows real college volume and enough pass-game involvement to suggest he isn't a one-dimensional grinder, but the leap to an NFL roster spot is the immediate hurdle. At 5'8" and 204 pounds, he projects as a compact, between-the-tackles option competing for a reserve role rather than a defined workload.

For now this is purely a roster-depth play, not a draftable fantasy asset. He carries no consensus ADP and sits at roughly zero percent rostered, with no 2026 projections to lean on. Miami's backfield strength of schedule grades out 15th, a neutral backdrop. Treat Hankerson as a camp name worth tracking only if an injury ahead of him cracks the depth chart open.
