The rookie tape was rough by any measure. Across 14 games in 2024, Polk ran just 234 routes, drew 33 targets and reeled in only 12 of them for 87 yards and two scores. A 36.4% catch rate, a -0.6 EPA per play and a 27.3% success rate all point the same direction, and his 0.37 yards per route run ranked among the worst at the position. Four drops on 16 catchable balls didn't help the trust.

A shoulder injury wiped out his second year before a trade sent him from New England to New Orleans, where he gets a clean slate but no guaranteed role. ADP sits near pick 390, deep into draft-and-stash territory. Until he carves out snaps and proves the hands have improved, he's a watch-list flier rather than anything you draft with intent. Monitor the depth chart in camp; the talent is there, the production hasn't been.
