Our 2026 Preseason Outlook

Lance remains one of the leagues great what-ifs, and the 2025 numbers are grim: four games, 57 attempts, a 47.4 percent completion rate, 226 yards, zero touchdowns and a pick, totaling 13.5 fantasy points as QB60. The efficiency is alarming, a minus 0.478 EPA per play, a 28.7 percent success rate, and a minus 9.8 CPOE that ranks among the worst marks for any passer with meaningful snaps. His 2024 cameo in Dallas was nearly identical, four games and 12.7 points with no scores.

The lone redeeming trait is mobility, a 10 percent scramble rate at 10.7 yards a pop and 85 rushing yards on 17 carries, but that cannot offset the passing collapse. Now in Los Angeles behind Justin Herbert, the former third overall pick is a clipboard-holder with no standalone path to snaps barring injury. He carries zero redraft value and only the faintest dynasty lottery ticket; leave him entirely on the waiver wire.
