Pierce's spine has rotted since his promising rookie debut. His 2025 cameo with Kansas City was a five-game blip: 14 carries for 36 yards at 2.57 per pop, an 8.4% snap share, and a brutal -0.301 EPA per play that ranked him 118th. Even the flashes of 2024 in Houston were schedule-quirk noise built on a 92-yard touchdown that single-handedly inflated his 7.33 yards per carry across just 40 attempts. The underlying tackle-breaking has faded too, and he hasn't cleared a 32% snap rate since 2023.
Now he lands in Philadelphia behind Saquon Barkley, with Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley also ahead of any meaningful workload. That's a third- or fourth-string slot with no realistic route to volume. The modest projection of roughly 35 carries, 161 yards and one score reflects pure handcuff-depth status. He's undraftable in standard formats and only worth a passing glance if Barkley's situation changes.
