Our Take After Week 4

Through 3 games he's WR32 at 11.0 PPR points per game, against 5.4 over 14 games last season (WR83). He's running ahead of last season's pace.

Last season he ranked 67th of 142 in target volume (10.0% target share), 73rd of 142 in downfield role (12.1% air-yards share) and 65th of 142 in efficiency (1.49 yards per route run). Downfield role is the soft spot. Jalen Hurts is his quarterback.

The main risk is the job itself. He's the listed starter with Hollywood Brown next on the depth chart, and a benching or an injury would take his value to zero overnight.

Published June 17, 2026. Kept for reference; the take above replaces it.

Wicks has flashed efficiency without ever earning steady volume. His 2025 line in Green Bay tells the story: just 46 targets and a 10% target share over 13 games, yet a 0.308 EPA per play and a 56.5% success rate that point to a sharper player than the box score. Back in 2023 he posted a 60.3% success rate, 2.11 yards per route run and 0.503 EPA on 58 targets, so the talent is real when the looks come. The problem has always been the looks.

Now in Philadelphia, the math gets harder. DeVonta Smith, A.J. Brown, Dallas Goedert and a pair of drafted rookies sit ahead of him on a run-leaning offense where Jalen Hurts rarely clears 3,000 passing yards. An ADP near 197 and a sub-30-catch projection frame him correctly: a late-round dart, draftable only in the deepest formats and otherwise a waiver watch.
