Our Take After Week 4
Through 3 games he's RB80 at 1.0 PPR points per game, against 9.1 over 13 games last season (RB42). He's running behind last season's pace.
Last season he ranked 27th of 95 in rushing volume (11.9 carries per game), 46th of 95 in receiving role (1.7 targets per game) and 18th of 95 in efficiency (2.37 yards after contact per carry). His points come from his efficiency. Receiving role is the soft spot. Justin Herbert is his quarterback.
He's RB3 on the depth chart, so his value depends on the players ahead of him.
The next favorable matchup is the Broncos in Week 5 (6th against RBs).

Vidal already showed he can carry a backfield when called on. Across 13 games in 2025 he turned 155 carries into 643 yards at 4.15 a pop with three scores, added 16 catches for 136, and banked 101.9 fantasy points on a 54.5% snap share. The explosiveness is real: 13 runs of 10-plus, four of 20-plus, a 59-yard touchdown, and 2.37 yards after contact per attempt behind a line that left him 23 negative-yardage carries. His -0.075 EPA per play is below average but a clear step up from 2024's -0.128 on far heavier volume.
The ceiling is gated by Omarion Hampton, who locks down the LAC starting job, with Keaton Mitchell pushing for the No. 2 role. As a re-signed exclusive-rights back drafted around pick 227, Vidal is a late-round handcuff. But he flashed RB2 weeks while Hampton's foot healed, so any injury makes him an immediate weekly play.
