Our Take After Week 4

Through 3 games he's WR120 at 1.9 PPR points per game, against 5.7 over 15 games last season (WR76). He's running behind last season's pace.

Last season he ranked 58th of 142 in target volume (12.2% target share), 85th of 142 in downfield role (9.3% air-yards share) and 108th of 142 in efficiency (1.00 yards per route run). Efficiency is the soft spot. Cooper Rush is his quarterback.

The main risk is the job itself. He's the listed starter with Zachariah Branch next on the depth chart, and a benching or an injury would take his value to zero overnight.

The next favorable matchup is the Ravens in Week 5 (6th against WRs).

Read our preseason outlook (June 2026)

Published June 16, 2026. Kept for reference; the take above replaces it.

Zaccheaus took a clear step back in 2025, finishing WR89 on 65 targets and a 12.2% share across 14 games in Chicago. His efficiency cratered: a minus-0.044 EPA per play, a 44.6% success rate, and just 1.0 yards per route run after posting 1.9 the year prior. The 8.0-yard average per catch and 313 receiving yards tell the story of a low-leverage role, even with 12 red-zone looks producing only two scores. The juice he flashed in 2024 (0.392 EPA, 56.2% success) simply didn't carry over.

Now back in Atlanta, he profiles as depth behind Drake London with rookie competition pushing for the same slot snaps. Mooney's exit opens a sliver of volume, but a 0.207 target-per-route rate and shrinking air-yards share cap the ceiling. He's a late-round dart and waiver watch, nothing more, until the route share actually expands.
