WR105 through Week 4 · 4.7 PPG
Preseason Projection vs. Reality
He finished WR139 last season at 3.6 points per game.
Our Take After Week 4
Through 2 games he's WR105 at 4.7 PPR points per game, against 3.6 over 8 games last season (WR139). He's running ahead of last season's pace.
Last season he ranked 104th of 142 in target volume (5.1% target share), 102nd of 142 in downfield role (7.4% air-yards share) and 113th of 142 in efficiency (0.96 yards per route run). Efficiency is the soft spot. Jayden Daniels is his quarterback.
He's WR2 on the depth chart, so his value depends on the players ahead of him.
The next favorable matchups are the Colts in Week 4 (9th against WRs) and the Giants in Week 5 (8th against WRs).
Read our preseason outlook (June 2026)
Published June 17, 2026. Kept for reference; the take above replaces it.
Burks landed in Washington still chasing the promise of his 2022 first-round billing, and 2025 offered little, just eight games, a 5.1 percent target share, and 19 fantasy points as WR136. He caught only 10 of 22 targets for 130 yards and a score on a 27.2 percent route share, and the efficiency cratered to a minus 0.401 EPA per play with a 45.5 percent catch rate. The downfield usage is there, a 13.45 air-yards-per-target and 29.6 air yards per reception, but he simply has not stayed on the field or earned volume.
Availability is the through-line of his career, averaging eight games a year over three seasons, and his best campaign still peaked at just 3.6 points per game. Buried behind Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel in a crowded Commanders room, he profiles as a deep-bench flier at best. For 2026 he is a waiver-wire afterthought with only a thin dynasty-stash case if a depth-chart injury finally hands him snaps; in redraft, ignore him.
