Our Take After Week 4

Through 3 games he's WR46 at 8.4 PPR points per game.

He's WR2 on the depth chart, so his value depends on the players ahead of him.

The next favorable matchups are the Colts in Week 4 (9th against WRs) and the Giants in Week 5 (8th against WRs).

Published June 17, 2026. Kept for reference; the take above replaces it.

Williams enters Washington as a developmental slot option with no NFL production on file, and the depth chart offers him little oxygen. He sits atop the listed slot group but in a Jayden Daniels offense funneling targets to Terry McLaurin and pass-catching back Jacory Croskey-Merritt, the realistic pecking order pushes Williams behind McLaurin, Treylon Burks, Luke McCaffrey and tight end Chig Okonkwo. He must also fend off Jaylin Lane for the underneath snaps that remain.

With zero career advanced stats to lean on, the projection is purely role- and capital-based, and neither argues for redraft relevance in 2026. The path to standalone value requires multiple injuries ahead of him plus a special-teams or gadget role to earn snaps. He is a deep-dynasty name to monitor through camp, not a player to roster in standard leagues. For now, leave him on the waiver wire and revisit only if the Commanders thin out at receiver.
