Evan Engram Rest-of-Season Outlook
Target-heavy depth TE for deep leagues only
TE33 through Week 4 · 5.7 PPG · 13.0% target share
Preseason Projection vs. Reality
He finished TE29 last season at 6.4 points per game.
Our Take After Week 4
Through 3 games he's TE33 at 5.7 PPR points per game, against 6.4 over 16 games last season (TE29). The role is producing the same fantasy output two years running.
Last season he ranked 22nd of 81 in route participation (56.9%), 20th of 82 in target share (13.0%) and 32nd of 82 in efficiency (1.28 yards per route run). His points come from his target share. Efficiency is the soft spot. Bo Nix is his quarterback.
The main risk is the job itself. He's the listed starter with Adam Trautman next on the depth chart, and a benching or an injury would take his value to zero overnight.
The next favorable matchup is the Cardinals in Week 7 (6th against TEs).
Read our preseason outlook (June 2026)
Published June 16, 2026. Kept for reference; the take above replaces it.
Engram's first Denver season ranked as a TE25 disappointment: 50 grabs, 461 yards and a single touchdown across 16 games, good for just 52.8 fantasy points. The underlying profile was worse than the box score. He ran routes on only 56.9% of dropbacks, drew a 13% target share, and posted a 0.247 WOPR while drawing only 4.36 air yards per target on shallow, low-leverage routes. A 39.5% success rate and 0.058 EPA per play barely registered, and eight drops on 58 catchable balls didn't help.
That collapse traces straight back to his elite 2023 (TE3, 0.454 WOPR, 53.8% success rate), making the regression undeniable. Denver's pass-catching room is now overloaded after adding Waddle alongside Sutton, Mims and Franklin, plus rookie tight ends behind him. At a TE35 ADP, he's a touchdown-dependent dart throw, not a starter worth rostering before October.

Evan Engram Fantasy Outlook FAQ
What is Evan Engram's fantasy outlook for the rest of the 2026 season?
Evan Engram projects as a target-heavy depth TE for deep leagues only for the rest of the 2026 season: a bench stash in TE-premium leagues and waiver-wire material in 12-team and 10-team leagues. His target share (13.0% target share, 20th of 82 TEs in 2025) supports that. His efficiency (1.28 yards per route run, 32nd of 82 TEs in 2025) holds him back. See his live rank in Redraft Command.
What is Evan Engram's rest-of-season fantasy ranking?
Evan Engram is the TE33 in PPR points per game through Week 4. That puts him in depth TE territory, waiver-wire material in 12-team leagues.
What is Evan Engram's projected role going forward?
Evan Engram is the listed starting TE, with Adam Trautman next on the depth chart. Nothing on the chart threatens the job, so the role is his to lose on performance.
Will Evan Engram get more targets?
Evan Engram's targets are holding steady: 1.5 a game over his last two games against 2.7 for the season. His share of the offense is what his fantasy value rides on.
What is Evan Engram's fantasy football upside?
Evan Engram's upside: his ceiling this season is 14.3 PPR points (Week 1, TE8), his target share (13.0% target share, 20th of 82 TEs in 2025) gives him a weekly floor to build on and the Cardinals in Week 7 is a top-10 matchup for TEs.
What could hurt Evan Engram's fantasy value?
Evan Engram's risks: Adam Trautman is next on the depth chart if he is benched or hurt and his efficiency (1.28 yards per route run, 32nd of 82 TEs in 2025) limits his scoring. See his injury status and history.
How difficult is Evan Engram's remaining fantasy schedule?
Favorable: of his next seven games, 2 come against a top-10 matchup for TEs and 0 against one of the stingiest defenses, by PPR points allowed to the position.
