Our Take After Week 4
Through 4 games he's WR7 at 0.8 PPR points per game, against 3.4 over 16 games last season (WR104). He's running behind last season's pace.
Last season he ranked 80th of 142 in target volume (8.4% target share), 49th of 142 in downfield role (19.8% air-yards share) and 107th of 142 in efficiency (1.03 yards per route run). Efficiency is the soft spot. Deshaun Watson is his quarterback.
He's WR2 on the depth chart, so his value depends on the players ahead of him.
The next favorable matchup is the Ravens in Week 6 (6th against WRs).

Published June 16, 2026. Kept for reference; the take above replaces it.
Bond's rookie tape reads like a deep-shot specialist still searching for a role. Across 15 games he played just 48.1% of snaps, drew a thin 8.4% target share, and converted only 18 of 44 looks for 338 yards and no scores. The 40.9% catch rate is ugly, but it's a byproduct of usage: his 17.07 air yards per target ranked among the most aggressive in the league, and he posted a 18.78 yard average with a 0.265 WOPR. The efficiency cratered, though, with a negative EPA per play and a 31.8% success rate that landed him at WR82.
The path forward is narrow. Cleveland spent early draft capital on two rookie receivers, stacking competition in front of a player who never locked down a snap count. His 1.03 yards per route run doesn't force the issue, and there's no clear projection for volume until he earns it. Treat him as a late-round dart with big-play upside, nothing more.
