Our Take After Week 4

Through 3 games he's WR72 at 5.7 PPR points per game, against 4.0 over 17 games last season (WR91). He's running ahead of last season's pace.

Last season he ranked 96th of 142 in target volume (6.3% target share), 104th of 142 in downfield role (6.9% air-yards share) and 59th of 142 in efficiency (1.54 yards per route run). Downfield role is the soft spot. C.J. Stroud is his quarterback.

He's WR2 on the depth chart, so his value depends on the players ahead of him.

The next favorable matchup is the Giants in Week 7 (8th against WRs).

Read our preseason outlook (June 2026)

Published June 17, 2026. Kept for reference; the take above replaces it.

Noel's rookie tape is a study in efficiency without volume. He logged just a 26% snap share and ran only 189 routes, yet posted a 0.405 EPA per play and a 48.6% success rate on 35 targets, hauling in 74.3% with a single drop. His 1.54 yards per route run and 7.42 air yards before the catch say the production was real when the offense looked his way; the 6.3% target share says it rarely did.

The opportunity argument is straightforward: Christian Kirk is gone, opening a path to a bigger role, and Noel flashed when handed snaps. But Tank Dell's return clouds that runway, and the modest projection near 22 catches and 239 yards reflects it. With an ADP outside WR90, he's a dynasty stash on age and upside more than a redraft target. Monitor the depth chart; the talent is there, the volume isn't yet.
