Our Take After Week 4
Through 1 game he's RB104 at 0.0 PPR points per game, against 6.1 over 15 games last season (RB52). He's running behind last season's pace.
Last season he ranked 59th of 95 in rushing volume (5.1 carries per game), 75th of 95 in receiving role (0.6 targets per game) and 93rd of 95 in efficiency (0.97 yards after contact per carry). Efficiency is the soft spot. Baker Mayfield is his quarterback.
He's RB3 on the depth chart, so his value depends on the players ahead of him.
The next favorable matchups are the Packers in Week 4 (2nd against RBs) and the Cowboys in Week 5 (8th against RBs).
Read our preseason outlook (June 2026)
Published June 17, 2026. Kept for reference; the take above replaces it.
Tucker's 2025 was a touchdown-fueled mirage: he scored eight total times (seven rushing) on just 86 carries, posting RB64 and 83.4 fantasy points despite a feeble 3.72 yards per carry and -0.07 EPA per play. The efficiency collapsed from his 2024 cameo, when he ran for 6.16 a pop on 18 percent explosive runs and 2.58 yards after contact; in 2025 those marks fell to 8.14 percent explosive and an alarming 0.97 yards after contact. His 11 goal-line carries and 24 red-zone chances show his value was scripted scoring.
The role caps the ceiling hard. At a 15.8 percent snap share behind Bucky Irving and Kenneth Gainwell, Tucker is the clear RB3 with no passing-down work, shown by 11 targets and a 2 percent target share. His fantasy line lives and dies on touchdown variance that is unlikely to repeat, and any Irving health scare is the only realistic route to standalone value. Treat him as a deep-bench handcuff and late-round dart, not a startable asset.
