Vaki has been a non-factor on offense across two seasons: one carry for four yards in 2025 (a 0.1 percent snap share, RB136, 0.4 points) after six carries and three catches in 2024. The 2024 line showed a faint pulse with a 2.47 yards per route run on 15 routes, but the overall body of work is negligible, and his -0.882 EPA per play in 2025 underscores how little he has contributed when on the field. The fourth-round 2024 pick out of Utah has been primarily a special-teams and defensive-package value to this point.
The roster math is brutal. Vaki sits as Detroit's RB3 behind All-Pro Jahmyr Gibbs and veteran Isiah Pacheco, leaving no early-down, passing-down, or goal-line role to mine.
