depth WR for deep leagues only
WR172 through Week 4 · 0.0 PPG
Preseason Projection vs. Reality
He finished WR193 last season at 1.1 points per game.
Our Take After Week 4
Through 2 games he's WR172 at 0.0 PPR points per game, against 1.1 over 5 games last season (WR193). He's running behind last season's pace.
Last season he ranked 138th of 142 in target volume (0.6% target share), 140th of 142 in downfield role (0.3% air-yards share) and 93rd of 142 in efficiency (1.19 yards per route run). Downfield role is the soft spot. Carson Wentz is his quarterback.
He's WR2 on the depth chart, so his value depends on the players ahead of him.
The next favorable matchups are the Colts in Week 7 (9th against WRs) and the Lions in Week 8 (2nd against WRs).
Read our preseason outlook (June 2026)
Published June 17, 2026. Kept for reference; the take above replaces it.
Minnesota spent a third-round pick (102nd overall) on the Maryland product in 2025, but his rookie year produced almost nothing: a 4.4 percent snap share, 21 routes, and three targets across 12 games. He caught all three for 25 yards and 2.5 fantasy points, ranking 195th at the position. The microscopic sample did flash efficiency, a 0.461 EPA per play and 1.19 yards per route, but on volume this thin those numbers carry no predictive weight.
The 2026 path is blocked. Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison headline the room, with T.J. Hockenson commanding tight-end targets, leaving Felton fighting for the third or fourth receiver job. Mid-round draft capital and youth (he turns 23 this season) keep a flicker of dynasty upside alive if an injury opens snaps, but for redraft there is nothing to roster. Treat him as a deep-dynasty stash and nothing more in 2026.

Tai Felton Fantasy Outlook FAQ
What is Tai Felton's fantasy outlook for the rest of the 2026 season?
Tai Felton projects as a depth WR for deep leagues only for the rest of the 2026 season: waiver-wire material in 12-team PPR, 10-team PPR and half-PPR leagues. His downfield role (0.3% air-yards share, 140th of 142 WRs in 2025) holds him back. See his live rank in Redraft Command.
What is Tai Felton's rest-of-season fantasy ranking?
Tai Felton is the WR172 in PPR points per game through Week 4. That puts him in depth WR territory, waiver-wire material in 10-team PPR leagues.
What is Tai Felton's projected role going forward?
Tai Felton is WR2 on the depth chart, so a bigger role needs an injury or a change ahead of him.
What is Tai Felton's fantasy football upside?
Tai Felton's upside: his ceiling this season is 0.0 PPR points (Week 1, WR136) and the Colts in Week 7 and the Lions in Week 8 are top-10 matchups for WRs.
What could hurt Tai Felton's fantasy value?
Tai Felton's risks: his downfield role (0.3% air-yards share, 140th of 142 WRs in 2025) limits his scoring and the Dolphins in Week 4 and the Saints in Week 5 are tough matchups. See his injury status and history.
How difficult is Tai Felton's remaining fantasy schedule?
Favorable: of his next seven games, 4 come against a top-10 matchup for WRs and 3 against one of the stingiest defenses, by PPR points allowed to the position.
