Our 2026 Preseason Outlook
By the StatChasers staff. Published .
McKee remains stuck behind Jalen Hurts in Philadelphia, but his limited sample shows real arm talent for a 2023 sixth-rounder (Round 6, Pick 188, Stanford). His 2024 cameo was electric: in two games he completed 66.7 percent for 323 yards, four touchdowns, zero picks and a stellar 0.225 EPA per play across 45 attempts. The 2025 expansion to four games told a tougher story, with completion dipping to 55.8 percent, EPA falling to -0.141, a 42.6 success rate and a 26.3 bad-throw rate as defenses got real film on him.
The profile is a pocket passer who lives and dies by efficiency and TD volume, evidenced by his 28.8 fantasy points in 2024 versus just 13.8 in a larger 2025 role. With Hurts entrenched and durable, McKee has no standalone path to weekly relevance, but his four-TD flash makes him a sneaky two-QB and superflex stash. In single-QB redraft he is a pure waiver name, only ownable as a contingency lottery ticket if Hurts misses time.
