Terry McLaurin Rest-of-Season Outlook
Efficient WR4 for deep leagues only
WR37 through Week 4 · 10.0 PPG · 2.55 yds/route run
Preseason Projection vs. Reality
He finished WR56 last season at 11.4 points per game.
Our Take After Week 4
Through 3 games he's WR37 at 10.0 PPR points per game, against 11.4 over 10 games last season (WR56). He's running behind last season's pace.
Last season he ranked 49th of 142 in target volume (13.9% target share), 44th of 142 in downfield role (21.0% air-yards share) and 8th of 142 in efficiency (2.55 yards per route run). His points come from his efficiency. Target volume is the soft spot. Jayden Daniels is his quarterback.
The main risk is the job itself. He's the listed starter with Antonio Williams next on the depth chart, and a benching or an injury would take his value to zero overnight.
The next favorable matchups are the Colts in Week 4 (9th against WRs) and the Giants in Week 5 (8th against WRs).
Read our preseason outlook (June 2026)
Published June 17, 2026. Kept for reference; the take above replaces it.
McLaurin endured a frustrating, abbreviated 2025: just 10 games and 76.2 fantasy points, a steep fall from his 2024 breakout when he ranked WR12 with 1,096 yards, 13 touchdowns and 185.8 points across 17 games. The volume cratered with availability, his target share slipping to 13.9 percent from 23.2, and routes dropping from 478 to 228. Yet the per-rep efficiency stayed elite: a 0.529 EPA per play, 2.55 yards per route run and a 61.7 success rate actually topped his stellar 2024 marks.
The 2019 third-rounder (Pick 76, Ohio State) remains Washington number one and a true deep threat, with two 50-plus catches and a 56-yard long despite the injury. At 29 with Jayden Daniels feeding him, a healthy 2026 should restore double-digit touchdown upside and a 22-plus percent target share. The boom/bust label persists, but his floor and ceiling justify a confident WR2 draft slot and weekly starter status as long as he is on the field.

Terry McLaurin Fantasy Outlook FAQ
What is Terry McLaurin's fantasy outlook for the rest of the 2026 season?
Terry McLaurin projects as an efficient WR4 for deep leagues only for the rest of the 2026 season: a bench stash in 12-team PPR leagues, waiver-wire material in 10-team PPR leagues and a bench stash in half-PPR leagues. His efficiency (2.55 yards per route run, 8th of 142 WRs in 2025) supports that. His target volume (13.9% target share, 49th of 142 WRs in 2025) holds him back. See his live rank in Redraft Command.
What is Terry McLaurin's rest-of-season fantasy ranking?

What is Terry McLaurin's projected role going forward?
Terry McLaurin is the listed starting WR, with Antonio Williams next on the depth chart. Nothing on the chart threatens the job, so the role is his to lose on performance.

What is Terry McLaurin's fantasy football upside?
Terry McLaurin's upside: his ceiling this season is 19.7 PPR points (Week 3, WR14), his efficiency (2.55 yards per route run, 8th of 142 WRs in 2025) gives him a weekly floor to build on and the Colts in Week 4 and the Giants in Week 5 are top-10 matchups for WRs.
What could hurt Terry McLaurin's fantasy value?
Terry McLaurin's risks: Antonio Williams is next on the depth chart if he is benched or hurt, his target volume (13.9% target share, 49th of 142 WRs in 2025) limits his scoring and the 49ers in Week 6 is a tough matchup. See his injury status and history.
