The Minnesota Vikings selected Conklin in round 5, pick 157, of the 2018 NFL Draft. He was traded to the New York Jets on April 29, 2017. He was traded to the Minnesota Vikings on April 28, 2018. Since then, Conklin played for the New York Jets (2022–2024) and Los Angeles Chargers (2025) and joined the Detroit Lions in 2026.
