Should You Start or Roster Tyrod Taylor?

Taylors 2025 line tells the story of a 36-year-old emergency starter: six games, a 59.7 completion rate, 779 yards, and a 5-to-5 touchdown-to-interception split that ranked QB43 with just 59.5 fantasy points. The underlying metrics were poor, a -0.045 EPA per play, 43.4 percent success rate, and a -0.9 CPOE, well off the +0.449 EPA he posted in a two-game 2024 cameo and the 1,341-yard, QB35 stretch run he managed for the Giants in 2023. His legs are largely gone too, with 143 rushing yards on 27 carries.

Now in Green Bay behind Jordan Love, Taylor is a pure insurance arm with zero standalone value while Love is healthy. He retains some streaming intrigue only in the event of an injury, given a rushing floor that has historically lifted spot starts, but that is a deep-league contingency, not a draftable asset. For 2026 redraft purposes he is a waiver-wire name to remember, nothing more, and irrelevant in all standard formats.

Tyrod Taylor Fantasy Outlook FAQ

What is Tyrod Taylor's fantasy outlook for the rest of the 2026 season?

Tyrod Taylor projects as a dual-threat QB4 for deep leagues only for the rest of the 2026 season: a bench stash in superflex and 2QB leagues and waiver-wire material in 1QB leagues. His rushing (23.8 rush yards per game, 11th of 41 QBs in 2025) supports that. His passing volume (22.3 attempts per game, 40th of 41 QBs in 2025) holds him back. See his live rank in Redraft Command.

What is Tyrod Taylor's rest-of-season fantasy ranking?

Tyrod Taylor is the QB42 in PPR points per game. That puts him in QB4 territory, waiver-wire material in 12-team 1QB leagues.

What is Tyrod Taylor's projected role going forward?

Tyrod Taylor is QB2 on the depth chart, so a bigger role needs an injury or a change ahead of him.

What is Tyrod Taylor's fantasy football upside?

Tyrod Taylor's upside: his rushing (23.8 rush yards per game, 11th of 41 QBs in 2025) gives him a weekly floor to build on and the Cowboys in Week 6 and the Lions in Week 7 are top-10 matchups for QBs.

What could hurt Tyrod Taylor's fantasy value?
