Our Take After Week 4

Through 4 games he's WR4 at 7.6 PPR points per game.

The job is secure: he's the listed starter and one of the best at his position. The main risk is health, and Isaiah Bond is next on the depth chart if he misses time.

The next favorable matchup is the Ravens in Week 6 (6th against WRs).

Published June 16, 2026. Kept for reference; the take above replaces it.

A first-round selection out of Texas A&M, Concepcion arrives in Cleveland with the kind of explosiveness that turns short catches into chunk plays, separating after the grab and making defenders miss in space. His final college campaign produced 919 receiving yards and nine scores, a total that likely undersold him given erratic deep-ball accuracy from his quarterbacks. The fit isn't perfect: Jerry Jeudy and fellow rookie Denzel Boston will siphon looks, and the drop problems that nagged him in college could carry over.

The ceiling is what makes him worth the gamble. Among rookie receivers available well past pick 100, he profiles as the most likely to seize a starting-caliber workload, with a path to becoming Cleveland's top passing-game target. The comparison points, Ladd McConkey and Brian Thomas Jr., both blossomed into top-24 finishers. A shaky Browns aerial attack caps the floor, but the cost is minimal and the payoff could be a weekly contributor.
