Our Take After Week 4
Through 3 games he's WR26 at 12.6 PPR points per game, against 10.6 over 8 games last season (WR75). He's running ahead of last season's pace.
Last season he ranked 61st of 142 in target volume (11.5% target share), 53rd of 142 in downfield role (18.3% air-yards share) and 42nd of 142 in efficiency (1.75 yards per route run). His points come from his efficiency. Target volume is the soft spot. Brock Purdy is his quarterback.
The next favorable matchups are the Commanders in Week 6 (1st against WRs) and the Falcons in Week 7 (3rd against WRs).

Published June 17, 2026. Kept for reference; the take above replaces it.
Evans is coming off a wrecked 2025: just 8 games, a 65.6 percent snap share and 35.3 percent route rate that gutted his volume to 62 targets for 30-368-3 and 54.8 fantasy points, ranked WR76. The peripherals decayed, an 11.5 percent target share and 0.30 WOPR down sharply from 2024's 19.5 percent and 0.518, with catch rate cratering to 48.4 percent on a thin 1.23 yards after the catch. This is a 32-year-old whose 2023 line of 136 targets, 1,255 yards and a WR9 finish now reads like a different player.
The move to San Francisco reshapes things. He tops the outside-receiver depth ahead of De'Zhaun Stribling but shares targets with Ricky Pearsall, Christian Kirk and George Kittle in a run-leaning scheme, so his Tampa-era target shares are gone. Still, nine red-zone targets in just eight games confirm he keeps goal-line equity and a touchdown-driven ceiling. Draft him as a low-end flex and bye-week dart, not the weekly WR1 he once was.

Mike Evans Fantasy Outlook FAQ
What is Mike Evans's fantasy outlook for the rest of the 2026 season?
Mike Evans projects as an efficient WR3 with flex weeks for the rest of the 2026 season: a flex play in 12-team PPR, 10-team PPR and half-PPR leagues. His efficiency (1.75 yards per route run, 42nd of 142 WRs in 2025) supports that. His target volume (11.5% target share, 61st of 142 WRs in 2025) holds him back. See his live rank in Redraft Command.
What is Mike Evans's rest-of-season fantasy ranking?
Mike Evans is the WR26 in PPR points per game through Week 4. That puts him in WR3 territory, a flex play in 10-team PPR leagues.
What is Mike Evans's projected role going forward?
Mike Evans is the listed starting WR. Nothing on the chart threatens the job, so the role is his to lose on performance.
Will Mike Evans get more targets?
Mike Evans's targets are holding steady: 4.5 a game over his last two games against 5.3 for the season. His share of the offense is what his fantasy value rides on.
What is Mike Evans's fantasy football upside?
Mike Evans's upside: his ceiling this season is 16.9 PPR points (Week 1, WR14), his efficiency (1.75 yards per route run, 42nd of 142 WRs in 2025) gives him a weekly floor to build on and the Commanders in Week 6 and the Falcons in Week 7 are top-10 matchups for WRs.
What could hurt Mike Evans's fantasy value?
Mike Evans's risks: his target volume (11.5% target share, 61st of 142 WRs in 2025) limits his scoring and the Broncos in Week 4 and the Seahawks in Week 5 are tough matchups. See his injury status and history.
How difficult is Mike Evans's remaining fantasy schedule?
Difficult: of his next seven games, 2 come against a top-10 matchup for WRs and 3 against one of the stingiest defenses, by PPR points allowed to the position.
