Preseason Projection vs. Reality
He finished TE37 last season at 5.0 points per game.
Our Take After Week 4
Through 3 games he's TE14 at 10.9 PPR points per game, against 5.0 over 15 games last season (TE37). He's running ahead of last season's pace.
Last season he ranked 52nd of 81 in route participation (31.9%), 41st of 82 in target share (6.7%) and 26th of 82 in efficiency (1.34 yards per route run). His points come from his efficiency. Route participation is the soft spot. Tyler Shough is his quarterback.
He's TE2 on the depth chart, so his value depends on the players ahead of him.

Published June 17, 2026. Kept for reference; the take above replaces it.
Fant lands in New Orleans after a diminished 2025 in Cincinnati, where his role shrank to a 37.9 percent snap share and 215 routes, turning 41 targets into 34 catches for just 288 yards and 3 touchdowns, 40.8 fantasy points and a TE41 finish. That short-area usage, a 3.34 air yards per target and 8.47 yards per catch, plus three fumbles and a negative 0.287 EPA per play, marked his least productive receiving season since becoming a regular. It was a steep drop from his 2024 Seattle line of 500 yards on 64 targets.
The move to New Orleans offers a chance at more route volume, but he still profiles as a complementary, TD-dependent streamer rather than a featured option, and the Saints` shaky quarterback situation caps the ceiling. His best season here looks like the high-40s fantasy points his recent profile suggests. For 2026 he is a low-end TE2 and matchup-based streaming candidate only, not a set-and-forget weekly starter. Leave him on the wire in 10- and 12-team leagues.

Noah Fant Fantasy Outlook FAQ
What is Noah Fant's fantasy outlook for the rest of the 2026 season?
Noah Fant projects as an efficient TE2 with matchup weeks for the rest of the 2026 season: a weekly starter in TE-premium leagues and a matchup play in 12-team and 10-team leagues. His efficiency (1.34 yards per route run, 26th of 82 TEs in 2025) supports that. His route participation (31.9% route participation, 52nd of 81 TEs in 2025) holds him back. See his live rank in Redraft Command.
What is Noah Fant's rest-of-season fantasy ranking?
Noah Fant is the TE14 in PPR points per game through Week 4. That puts him in TE2 territory, a matchup play in 12-team leagues.
What is Noah Fant's projected role going forward?
Noah Fant is TE2 on the depth chart, so a bigger role needs an injury or a change ahead of him.
Will Noah Fant get more targets?
Noah Fant's targets are trending down: 2.0 a game over his last two games against 4.0 for the season. His share of the offense is what his fantasy value rides on.
What is Noah Fant's fantasy football upside?
Noah Fant's upside: his ceiling this season is 19.3 PPR points (Week 3, TE7) and his efficiency (1.34 yards per route run, 26th of 82 TEs in 2025) gives him a weekly floor to build on.
What could hurt Noah Fant's fantasy value?
Noah Fant's risks: his route participation (31.9% route participation, 52nd of 81 TEs in 2025) limits his scoring and the Vikings in Week 5 and the Steelers in Week 7 are tough matchups. See his injury status and history.
How difficult is Noah Fant's remaining fantasy schedule?
Difficult: of his next seven games, 1 comes against a top-10 matchup for TEs and 3 against one of the stingiest defenses, by PPR points allowed to the position.
