Our Take After Week 4

Through 3 games he's WR94 at 3.9 PPR points per game, against 8.7 over 18 games last season (WR39). He's running behind last season's pace.

Last season he ranked 38th of 142 in target volume (16.3% target share), 39th of 142 in downfield role (22.0% air-yards share) and 64th of 142 in efficiency (1.50 yards per route run). His points come from his target volume. Efficiency is the soft spot. Drew Lock is his quarterback.

The main risk is the job itself. He's the listed starter with Tory Horton next on the depth chart, and a benching or an injury would take his value to zero overnight.

Read our preseason outlook (June 2026)

Published June 17, 2026. Kept for reference; the take above replaces it.

Shaheed posted career-high volume in 2025, playing 18 games on a 90.7 percent route rate and turning a 16.3 percent target share into 59 catches for 687 yards and two scores (97.6 points, WR38). The profile remains explosive and downfield: 11.45 air yards per target, a 22 percent air-yards share and a 0.398 WOPR, with a perfect 0.0 percent drop rate on 92 looks. But efficiency dipped, as a -0.047 EPA per play and 45.7 percent success rate trailed his 2023 Saints form (719 yards, five TDs, 0.161 EPA).

The undrafted Weber State product (rookie 2022) now works a deep Seattle perimeter, where his 11.6 yards per catch and big-play knack give weekly spike potential but a thin floor on a 64.1 percent catch rate. With only nine red-zone targets, his scoring stays volatile. He is a WR3/flex and best-ball favorite whose splash games carry roster-altering ceiling, but inconsistent target quality keeps him out of the must-start tier.

Rashid Shaheed Fantasy Outlook FAQ

What is Rashid Shaheed's fantasy outlook for the rest of the 2026 season?

Rashid Shaheed projects as a target-heavy depth WR for deep leagues only for the rest of the 2026 season: waiver-wire material in 12-team PPR, 10-team PPR and half-PPR leagues. His target volume (16.3% target share, 38th of 142 WRs in 2025) supports that. His efficiency (1.50 yards per route run, 64th of 142 WRs in 2025) holds him back. See his live rank in Redraft Command.

What is Rashid Shaheed's rest-of-season fantasy ranking?

Rashid Shaheed is the WR94 in PPR points per game through Week 4. That puts him in depth WR territory, waiver-wire material in 10-team PPR leagues.

What is Rashid Shaheed's projected role going forward?

Rashid Shaheed is the listed starting WR, with Tory Horton next on the depth chart. Nothing on the chart threatens the job, so the role is his to lose on performance.

Will Rashid Shaheed get more targets?

Rashid Shaheed's targets are holding steady: 4.5 a game over his last two games against 4.0 for the season. His share of the offense is what his fantasy value rides on.

What is Rashid Shaheed's fantasy football upside?

Rashid Shaheed's upside: his ceiling this season is 6.9 PPR points (Week 2, WR53) and his target volume (16.3% target share, 38th of 142 WRs in 2025) gives him a weekly floor to build on.

What could hurt Rashid Shaheed's fantasy value?

Rashid Shaheed's risks: Tory Horton is next on the depth chart if he is benched or hurt, his efficiency (1.50 yards per route run, 64th of 142 WRs in 2025) limits his scoring and the 49ers in Week 5 and the Broncos in Week 6 are tough matchups. See his injury status and history.

How difficult is Rashid Shaheed's remaining fantasy schedule?

Difficult: of his next seven games, 1 comes against a top-10 matchup for WRs and 5 against one of the stingiest defenses, by PPR points allowed to the position.
