How dynasty teams are graded
A dynasty roster is scored on present value and future value separately, because the same team can be strong at one and weak at the other. Present value is the strength of the lineup it can start now; future value weights the assets that will still be producing in three years. The grade is the pair, not an average of them — averaging is how a team that is both old and mediocre gets mistaken for a balanced one.
Why the age curve is the whole game
Positions age differently: running backs fall off years before receivers, and quarterbacks in superflex hold value longer than either. The analyzer applies a per-position curve rather than a single age cutoff, so a 28-year-old receiver and a 28-year-old back are not treated as the same problem.
What to do with the result
The grade comes with the why: which position is aging out, which assets are worth more to another team than to you, and which trades move you toward contending or toward a rebuild. Each recommendation links into the trade finder and the trade calculator.

From the roster's total dynasty value, its projected starting lineup, its age profile and its draft capital, each compared with the other teams in the same league rather than a generic average.
