What it checks

Everything the NFL combine explorer looks at.

Forty, vertical, broad jump, three-cone, shuttle, bench, height and weight for every combine participant

An athletic score computed against players at the same position, with the drills that drove it

Filters by position, combine year, draft team, draft round and drill coverage

Up to four prospects compared side by side against a cohort you choose

Draft round and pick alongside the athletic profile

How it works

Built around your league, not a generic one.

Athletic score

Each measurement is compared with players at the same position, so a forty time that is fast for a tight end is not judged against wide receivers. The score combines the position-relevant tests into one number and shows which tests drove it, with a confidence level that drops when a player skipped drills.

Why the combine matters for dynasty

Rookies are priced before they have played a snap. Athletic profile, draft capital and college production are most of what a rookie's dynasty value rests on in the spring, and this page puts the athletic part next to the draft result.

Comparison

Search for up to four players and the page lays their athletic profiles next to each other, against a cohort you choose, so a rookie can be compared with the players at his position from the same class or with every player in the database.

Questions

NFL Combine Explorer FAQ

How is the NFL Combine athletic score calculated?

Each measurement is compared with players at the same position, and the position-relevant tests are combined into one number. The page shows which tests drove the athletic score and how confident it is given the drills the player completed.

Can I compare NFL Combine results side by side?

Yes. Up to four players at once, against a cohort you choose: the same position in the same class, or every player in the database.

Do the combine results show where the player was drafted?

Yes. Draft team, round and overall pick sit next to the combine measurements, and the table can be filtered or sorted by them.

Are the NFL Combine results free?

Yes. The combine explorer needs no account and no league.
