How the dynasty trade finder works
It reads every roster in the league, works out which teams are contending and which are rebuilding from their starting-lineup strength and their age profile, then looks for pairs whose surpluses are the other's shortage. A contender's spare young depth for a rebuilder's aging producer is the archetype, and the finder proposes the specific players rather than the concept.
Buy low and sell high
The table below compares each player's market value with a model value built from production and age. A player whose market price lags his model value is a buy; one whose price has run ahead is a sell. These are public, league-independent signals — the finder narrows them to the players who are actually available in your league.

It looks for mutual upgrades, because one-sided dynasty trade offers get rejected. In dynasty that usually means the two teams are on different timelines rather than that one is being fleeced.

Yes, for Sleeper leagues. The offer goes to the other manager with an optional note.
Does the trade finder know whether I should be contending or rebuilding?
It reads your roster's lineup strength and age profile and tells you which it thinks you are, and you can override it. The dynasty trade suggestions follow whichever plan is set.

It compares each player's dynasty trade value with a model value built from production and age. Players the market underprices are buy-low targets; players it overprices are sell-high candidates, and the finder builds offers around them.
