Preseason Projection vs. Reality
He finished RB40 last season at 7.2 points per game.
Our Take After Week 4
Through 3 games he's RB36 at 6.4 PPR points per game, against 7.2 over 17 games last season (RB40). The role is producing the same fantasy output two years running.
Last season he ranked 42nd of 95 in rushing volume (8.5 carries per game), 65th of 95 in receiving role (0.8 targets per game) and 69th of 95 in efficiency (1.63 yards after contact per carry). Efficiency is the soft spot. Matthew Stafford is his quarterback.
He's RB2 on the depth chart, so his value depends on the players ahead of him.
The next favorable matchup is the Bills in Week 5 (4th against RBs).

Published June 17, 2026. Kept for reference; the take above replaces it.
Corum's 2025 leap is the real story: 145 carries became 746 yards at 5.14 a pop with six scores and zero fumbles, a 0.063 EPA per play that flipped his ugly -0.108 from 2024. He cleared 10-plus yards on 23 runs, broke off five 20-plus and a 48-yard touchdown, and posted a 15.9% explosive-run rate among the league's best. That efficiency came on just a 29.1% snap share, so the volume ceiling is obvious if usage climbs.
The catch is the depth chart. Kyren Williams still owns this backfield, leaving Corum a complementary back with negligible passing-game work (14 targets, 0.22 yards per route). That caps his standalone value, but he's among the premier handcuffs available, going around RB34 near pick 93. He flashed three-down upside down the stretch, and any Williams absence instantly turns him into a weekly starter behind a favorable schedule.
