depth TE for deep leagues only
TE71 through Week 4 · 0.9 PPG
Preseason Projection vs. Reality
He finished TE66 last season at 1.8 points per game.
Our Take After Week 4
Through 3 games he's TE71 at 0.9 PPR points per game, against 1.8 over 17 games last season (TE66). The role is producing the same fantasy output two years running.
Last season he ranked 54th of 81 in route participation (30.1%), 57th of 82 in target share (3.8%) and 66th of 82 in efficiency (0.68 yards per route run). Efficiency is the soft spot. Daniel Jones is his quarterback.
He's TE2 on the depth chart, so his value depends on the players ahead of him.
The next favorable matchup is the Commanders in Week 4 (2nd against TEs).
Read our preseason outlook (June 2026)
Published June 17, 2026. Kept for reference; the take above replaces it.
Alie-Cox remains a low-volume, blocking-first tight end, and the 2025 line proves it: 11 games, a career-low 39.1 percent snap share, 173 routes and just 20 targets for 13-117-1 and 17.7 fantasy points, ranked TE63. His 3.8 percent target share and 0.071 WOPR are irrelevant, and a -0.043 EPA per play fell sharply from 2024's 0.358. The lone bright spot is red-zone usage, six red-zone and two end-zone targets, the touchdown-dependent profile that yielded 3 scores and 36.1 points in 2023.
The 2026 outlook gets worse with rookie Tyler Warren installed as Indianapolis's clear TE1. Alie-Cox slides to the TE2 in-line role, where his value is purely as a blocker who occasionally vultures a goal-line target. With route participation already at 30.1 percent and trending down, there is no realistic receiving volume to mine. He is off the fantasy radar in all redraft formats, a deep-bench afterthought only in a rare touchdown-or-bust week.
