T.J. Hockenson Dynasty Value 2026
T.J. Hockenson dynasty outlook: superflex and 1QB value, dynasty rank, age curve, startup and rookie draft cost, long-term market trend, production history and trade context.
T.J. Hockenson dynasty outlook
T.J. Hockenson is ranked #179 overall and TE24 in StatChasers' superflex dynasty rankings, a deep-roster or taxi-squad option at a market value of 573.
He is 29.0 years old — inside the tight-end prime, which runs late. Age is weighted per position in the model value, so this is priced in rather than mentioned in passing.
T.J.'s dynasty value (573) runs well ahead of his win-now value (276) — the market is paying for what he becomes, not what he does this season. That is a rebuilder's asset, and a contender's trade chip.
The model values T.J. +242.6% above the dynasty market, a buy-low signal: his production and age say the price is too low.
In dynasty startup drafts T.J. goes at pick 157.4 on average (round 14.01 in a 12-team startup, TE23 by ADP), with a typical range of 130 to 185 across 891 drafts; his startup cost is rising over the last 30 days (+1.0 picks).
Over the longer run his startup ADP has fallen: from an average pick of 56.7 in 2024-01 to 166.4 in 2026-09, across 28 months of drafts.
Production trajectory: 7.5 PPR points per game in 2025 over 15 games, down from 8.7 in 2024, finishing TE26.
Drafted round 1, pick 8 by Detroit Lions in 2019. Draft capital keeps mattering in dynasty long after it stops mattering in redraft — teams keep giving opportunity to players they spent a pick on.
