WR49 through Week 4 · 8.0 PPG · 15.4% target share
Preseason Projection vs. Reality
He finished WR53 last season at 7.3 points per game.
Our Take After Week 4
Through 3 games he's WR49 at 8.0 PPR points per game, against 7.3 over 16 games last season (WR53). The role is producing the same fantasy output two years running.
Last season he ranked 42nd of 142 in target volume (15.4% target share), 64th of 142 in downfield role (14.0% air-yards share) and 67th of 142 in efficiency (1.47 yards per route run). His points come from his target volume. Efficiency is the soft spot. Drew Lock is his quarterback.
Read our preseason outlook (June 2026)
Published June 17, 2026. Kept for reference; the take above replaces it.
Kupp's first Seattle season laid the decline bare: 47 grabs for 593 yards and just two scores across 16 games, a 69.3-point output that ranked WR47. His 15.4% target share and 0.174 targets per route both slid from 18.5% and 0.282 in 2024, and his WOPR cratered from 0.406 to 0.329. The encouraging notes are a 0.094 EPA per play and 57.1% success rate, plus 6.23 yards after the catch per reception, signaling he can still move the chains when he gets looks.
The problem is volume. Now 33 and slotted behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Rashid Shaheed and Tory Horton, Kupp profiles as a secondary option whose 12 red-zone targets didn't translate to touchdowns. Projections peg him near 47 catches, 584 yards and three or four scores, echoing 2025. With an ADP around 202, treat him as a late-round flier in deep PPR formats and a waiver watch otherwise.

What is Cooper Kupp's rest-of-season fantasy ranking?
Cooper Kupp is the WR49 in PPR points per game through Week 4. That puts him in depth WR territory, waiver-wire material in 10-team PPR leagues.
What is Cooper Kupp's projected role going forward?
Cooper Kupp is the listed starting WR. Nothing on the chart threatens the job, so the role is his to lose on performance.
Will Cooper Kupp get more targets?
