Our Take After Week 4

Through 4 games he's RB2 at 12.1 PPR points per game, against 12.1 over 14 games last season (RB26). The role is producing the same fantasy output two years running.

Last season he ranked 8th of 95 in rushing volume (16.4 carries per game), 32nd of 95 in receiving role (2.6 targets per game) and 29th of 95 in efficiency (2.20 yards after contact per carry). His points come from his rushing volume. Deshaun Watson is his quarterback.

The job is secure: he's the listed starter and one of the best at his position. The main risk is health, and Raheim Sanders is next on the depth chart if he misses time.

The next favorable matchups are the Jets in Week 5 (9th against RBs) and the Steelers in Week 8 (10th against RBs).

Read our preseason outlook (June 2026)

Published June 16, 2026. Kept for reference; the take above replaces it.

Judkins handled 230 carries across 14 games as a rookie and finished the RB24, but the surface counting stats hide some warts. He averaged a thin 3.6 yards per carry, posted a negative -0.126 EPA per play, and forced a broken tackle just once every 20.9 attempts, gaining only 2.2 yards after contact. The volume was real, though: 33 red-zone opportunities and 11 goal-line carries turned into seven scores, and four runs of 30-plus yards show the home-run gear is there.

The receiving role barely exists, with a 6.9% target share, 26 grabs, and 0.96 yards per route run capping his PPR ceiling. He's recovering from a Week 16 ankle and fibula fracture but tracking toward the opener. A rebuilt line should lift the efficiency floor. Bank on a 300-touch projection and draft him as a high-volume RB2 with real touchdown equity.
